So I started a new job a UCLA. I'm a Division Assistant for the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies. I'm not really sure what I thought it would be like, but whatever it was I imagined, it's definitely not it. I've pretty much been doing nothing but checking emails for professors, running off copies, ordering books for next quarter, and verifying schedules. I'm like a personal secretary for fifteen thousand people, and I can't help wondering why I'm here.
