New Year's Dinner

This year, New Year's seemed to be low key for everyone. I decided to host a dinner party. Originally, I planned to have people chip in for food, etc., because I'm entirely broke at the moment. Everyone agreed to help out. However, by the end of the night, only Jenn gave me money (thank you Jenn!).

Since it was a bit last minute, people's plans kept changing. Between 8 and 15 people were to show up, but in the end, there were only 6 of us. Yet, as Jenn kept saying, the ones that showed were the only ones that mattered. I had a lot of food left over, however, so that was the only
downside.

We had chips and spinach dip to start with. When we ate, we had:
French salad with almonds, cranberries, feta cheese and white balsamic dressing
Toscana soup with French bread
Rissotto
Chicken Tetrazzini pasta
Chicken breasts on top of spinach and served with a white wine cream sauce with shallots
Raspberry cream cupcakes
Bread pudding with rum sauce
Martinelli's and Moet
