Clubbing at Highlands

I've been wanting to go clubbing lately, but it never seems to pan out. I've been to Diego's club twice, but each time was drama and lacked something. I wanted to go both times I was in Vegas, but it just wasn't in the stars.

Diego and I hit Highlands tonight. It was the first time I went there, but it's the nicest club I've ever been to. Robert has said this a number of times, but truthfully, I was like, "I've been to many clubs. How great can this one be?" I was wrong. This club is nice. The two tiered balcony deck is awesome.

We meant to get to the club earlier, but we got held up. We were on the guestlist, and didn't want to pay. When we got to the complex, Diego and I got into a little scuffle, so we spent a little more time than necessary in the parking lot. By the time we got to the club, there was like ten minutes before the guestlist cutoff, and the line was out of control around two corners. We weren't going to make it.

We decided to go to Ripley's Believe it or Not instead. I was sad, though, because I really wanted to go clubbing, and we never get the chance (since he works Friday and Saturday nights).

We went to Level 3 to get our parking validated and ended up going inside. There were like 5 people inside. It was sad. We went to the usually VIP room and laid down on the couches for awhile. It was boring, so we decided to go down to the museum.

On our way there, we ran into one of Diego's security friends -- Kevin. We told him about our situation, and he said that he'd get us in. So we waited for backup, and then he took us up the service elevator. At the club doors, he was asking a favor from one of his buddies when the guy saw Diego. The promoter was like, "hey, what's up?!" and he said he'd take Diego in himself. Where was this guy like an hour earlier?

Anyways, we got inside, and we had a really good time. We took a picture on the dancefloor, which is shown below.
