Jen and Alex came down for the holidays, and we went out to lunch. We met at Thai Nakorn by the Block. Afterwards, we went to the Block for some shopping. We stopped by the Sac store to get a little R and R and then I almost bought some hermit crabs at an incense/foreign goods store.

Ornament Making at Emily's

For the holidays, Emily invited people over to make ornaments for her Christmas tree. Some people made bulbs. Some made pipe-cleaner shapes or paper snowflakes. A few made clay figurines, etc. I focused primarily on shrinky dinks. The first one I made was off a sketch by Emily, but I soon found inspiration on my Happy Bunny pajama bottoms (it was a pajama party, I wasn't just weirdly dressed as usual).

When I got home, I was so inspired by the ornament making that I found the shrinky dink material I bought (and never used) while in college, and made my own ornaments.
